The Ashford flexible conrod joint, which measures 1/4 inch in diameter and 2.75 inches long (6.00mm x 7.0cm), is compatible with Ashford spinning wheels produced from the mid-1980s to 2012. However, if your wheel has a green connector with a 3/16 inch diameter, this conrod joint may not fit. Ashford no longer stocks the green 3/16 inch diameter flexible conrod joints.

This connector will not fit the Ashford spinning wheels made from 2012 to the present, which use a black cast footman connector. Additionally, it will not fit the Ashford spinning wheels made prior to the mid-1980s that use a flat piece of leather, 9/16" wide x 2 5/8" long x 1/8" thick, with two predrilled holes for the attaching screws.

The Ashford flexible conrod joint is a replacement part that connects the treadle rail to the conrod (footman) on various Ashford spinning wheels. It is designed to fit Ashford spinning wheels manufactured from the mid-1980s to 2012.
