The Ashford Small 72 point Hand Cards include one pair for lightweight and easy carrying. These hand carders are used in pairs to prepare fiber, blend fibers, or colors, making them great for creating rolags ready for spinning. The card cloth features wire teeth with a special protective coating and a flexible rubber backing, ensuring long life. To assemble, simply attach the handle to the paddle using a wood screw. Crafted from unfinished Silver Beech hardwood, the wood paddle measures 7.5 inches by 3.5 inches (195mm x 90mm), while the carding teeth area measures 6.75 inches by 2.5 inches (172mm x 62mm). The tine height is 5/16 inch (8mm), and the carders are made in New Zealand.
