The 24-inch Ashford Rigid Heddle Loom is designed to accommodate a 15 dpi (dents per inch) reed, which is made from strong, durable nylon and features unfinished Beech hardwood rails.

The dimensions of this reed are as follows: - Length of the top and bottom rails: 24 7/8 inches (632mm) - Length of the nylon section: 23 3/8 inches (595mm) - Height: 4 15/16 inches (125mm) - Rail thickness: 5/8 inches (15mm)

Reeds with varying dpi (dents per inch) are available for this loom to suit different weaving preferences. The 2.5, 5, 7.5, and 10 dpi (10, 20, 30, and 40/10cm) reeds feature wider eyes, making them suitable for use with novelty yarns. For finer warp threads, the 12.5 dpi (50/10cm) and 15 dpi (60/10cm) reeds are the recommended options.
